Does your child find it hard to express and recognise their feelings?

Are you finding it hard to connect with your child?

Play Therapy helps and supports children by letting them do what they do best.

Children may not have the verbal knowledge and emotional regulation to express their feelings through words. But they can 'play out' those feelings.

During our sessions in the playroom, your child is in control.

By watching them play and playing with them, I can understand what your child is dealing with. I can then help your child (and you) to navigate those emotions and feelings.

While Play Therapy is aimed at children aged  2 – 12 years, older children may also benefit.

Sand Tray

Sand Tray Therapy is a form of expressive therapy. This non-verbal therapy supports children, adults, teens and groups.

Art therapy is a creative, healthy way to help decrease anxiety and worry. It can also soothe and regulate emotions and behaviour.

About me

I established Play Therapy with Jodie in November 2019.

After 20 years in education, I was ready for a new challenge. I knew from my experience that Play Therapy was a better way to support kids.

As the demand for play therapy has grown, three additional therapists have joined the team.

Our one-on-one sessions take place in one of our play rooms in Tanunda.
